FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH
Our children's and youth ministry provides Bible study, learning projects, and fellowship to help nurture and grow their faith.
FOR ADULTS
We offer studies, classes, and groups to challenge, comfort, and connect. We embrace questions and wrestle with real world issues. Our ministry teams offer opportunities to serve Christ in the church and in the world.
GETTING HERE
2100 4th Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203
PARKING
You’ll find plenty of street parking around the church.
There is a municipal metered lot directly behind the church off of 5th Ave. N.
You can also park in the parking deck on the corner of 4th Avenue N. and 22nd Street N.
First Sundays
We celebrate communion during worship. After the 11:00am service, we have a potluck lunch (1st@First). The gathering is casual, and we invite you to come as you are, with or without a dish. There's always plenty of food to go around.
Fellowship
We invite all to gather in the chapel following worship for coffee, snacks, and fellowship. This casual time for all ages gives people a chance to catch up. All coffee served is Equal Exchange fair trade coffee.
connections
We hope you'll find a place to serve and be served at First Pres. Find a Class or Small Group that interests you. Come to worship. Check out our Ministry Teams and our Mission Partners pages for service opportunities.
finding your way around
A new place can be intimidating, so there are maps at the entrances and greeters in the Narthex. We want to insure your visit is a comfortable one.
